The only good thing about NatWest is Job Security and that you will het comfortable in your role l.

Dislikes

Salary is the biggest issue here. You will be heavily underpaid and one thing they will always going to say at the time of appraisal and increment is that you are way above the industry slab which in real is not the truth. You will slowly get detroite and lose all the motivation for growth. You will be stuck with the 90 days Notice period policy and lose all the interview skills as well. Working culture is not that good as Managers are not aware of the colleagues well being and they want you to work day in and day out. Also you will be dissatisfied with the culture as there are no benefits for you at all.

Dislikes

-> Lack of opportunity of advancement, low bonus. -> NatWest technology India is a company with strong culture of Hierarchy, which can be seen in the way teams are structured and managed. This leads to a sense of distance between managers and employees and makes it difficult for employees to feel comfortable speaking up or sharing their ideas. -> There have been reports of racist treatment from managers of southern India towards their collogues from northern India, particularly in technology teams based in Bangalore and Chennai. This creates hostile work environment. -> While HR claims to be committed to gender equality and providing opportunities for employees to speak up, whistle blowers are reported being targeted or sidelined. This shows real gap between HR policy and practice, and that employees may not feel comfortable reporting misconduct or discrimination.

natwest is a great company for freshers, you can get a lot to learn here, people are really nice and genuine, managers and PLs are also really helpful. One can expect a good time in this company. Lots of learning and training sessions. Good infrastructure.

Dislikes

the only thing that i dislike about natwest is they pay very less. no matter how good you are they only pay the standard amount of appraisal, which is quite disheartening. Politics is there, you can't mess up with the higher management if you want to grow within the company.

Nothing at all. Its the worst company to work for.

Dislikes

.... Wont pay your shift allowances and you will keep working without any benefits. They will deduct tour salary for transport. They cant provide you free transport, food. No benefits. The HR policy has gone totally against the employees and in favour of managers and higher level. So if you are a hard working person dont go there.

...ple work, no higher risks and accountability despite being in Banking Operation. Layers of scrutiny and focus on hugely learning & development of an employee rather than their salary and other payables

...posit any sum deducted during my tenure with RBS at the Employee Provident Fund. The salary rise is very scant. They make you work long hours, no overtime and all. There are many projects happening there, the front level employees have to work but all the credit goes to the Manager or the Team Leader. The working hours are very long, very less breaks. Highly monitored environment. It's like being inside a military dome not in a cubicle. All-in-all, with less pay and less morale, one cannot stand long in this company. This company values perfection, but not employee's life.
