It's a "middle class" company - people are kind and down to earth in general. Everyone is helpful. The culture used to be really good at Mindtree before the merger with LTI happened.

... - hiring practices are not good, general calibre of people is on the lower end. But for this salary, it's hard to get good candidates. - I joined in May 2022, and my salary increment has been 5% in the last ~ years (it is Feb 2025 now). Infact in 2023, I got 2% hike even though my annual review rating was 3 out of 4. In 2024, I got a rating of 4 on 4 and my salary increment was 2.5%. - They change the annual review cycle to whenever they want. We are seeing appraisal cycle of 15-16 months each because they say they haven't been performing. But that's not true - the CEO doesn't take a pay cut. His earnings keep increasing while we don't get a hike. - They have way too many people on the bench but the company is also losing projects and accounts left right and centre to other competitors in the market. - HR and the Workforce Management team don't really care about you - they only focus on enforcing policies. Meaning if you've been on the bench for more than 60 days, they will call you and ask you to resign. - On projects, I've had to be online and support the US team at midnight/1-2 am even though I'm technically on a day time 9-6 shift. We don't get paid overtime and they just automatically expect us to work and be available at all times. - They ask you to come to office all 5 days if you're on the bench. And if you are non compliant, they deduct your leaves. That way when they ask you to resign, they don't have to compensate you for your leaves as part of the severance.

The company culture is exceptional, with top management always ready to assist. There are abundant learning Opportunities, and employees are highly motivated to develop their skillsets.

Dislikes

Unfortunately, appraisal process is lacking, with minimal salary hikes.

Option to explore new technology and as well as responsibility. Continuous training on new skills and development

...like Medical Insurance and Term Life insurance which is to be paid by employees. Salary not as per market standards.

Focus and Opportunities for learning is great CEO is good and top L&T leadership are probably good people however senior leadership below C level can be improved. The profile, history and legacy of the group organisation is excellent Many new offices have opened Organization is on growth trajectory , although pace should be improved.

...s and culture has become bureaucratic Micro management and focus on unnecessary non-value adds task Employee empowerment is lacking Not a good pay master, not interested in retaining good talent, very high attrition - bad HR policy implementations Thrown the baby with the bathwater - everything that was good and great was discarded in new entity

A company with a wonderful culture. It has an amazing work life balance. Good for freshers as they will get a lot of opportunities to learn and develop their skill

Dislikes

Salary hike and promotion cycles is where the company needs to improve.
