They have lots of skills to develop but won't prefer newbie.

6hrs a day is big challenge Salary structure are very rigid Now a days job security is big concern here as lots of project are very short-term around 6 months No work satisfaction Company rules and regulations are very against employees Companies liability people who makes rules are more than asset people who actually making money People like HR, Payroll are unknown to the world and very hard to chase Bench strength is growing and employees struggle to find new secured project

Worst Service based company. They treat employee as slave. And take advantage of bench employee to ask to relocate in other city without any salary hike.

It's a "middle class" company - people are kind and down to earth in general. Everyone is helpful. The culture used to be really good at Mindtree before the merger with LTI happened.

... - hiring practices are not good, general calibre of people is on the lower end. But for this salary, it's hard to get good candidates. - I joined in May 2022, and my salary increment has been 5% in the last ~ years (it is Feb 2025 now). Infact in 2023, I got 2% hike even though my annual review rating was 3 out of 4. In 2024, I got a rating of 4 on 4 and my salary increment was 2.5%. - They change the annual review cycle to whenever they want. We are seeing appraisal cycle of 15-16 months each because they say they haven't been performing. But that's not true - the CEO doesn't take a pay cut. His earnings keep increasing while we don't get a hike. - They have way too many people on the bench but the company is also losing projects and accounts left right and centre to other competitors in the market. - HR and the Workforce Management team don't really care about you - they only focus on enforcing policies. Meaning if you've been on the bench for more than 60 days, they will call you and ask you to resign. - On projects, I've had to be online and support the US team at midnight/1-2 am even though I'm technically on a day time 9-6 shift. We don't get paid overtime and they just automatically expect us to work and be available at all times. - They ask you to come to office all 5 days if you're on the bench. And if you are non compliant, they deduct your leaves. That way when they ask you to resign, they don't have to compensate you for your leaves as part of the severance.

Long days on bench 😂. While connecting with WFM's not responding. Good office but bad culture with management.

Dislikes

I'm from B.Sc (non B.Tech), they locked 4y Bond & mention Mtech(4y program) sponsor, that is not free they took my salary to pay. And this is mandatory to take else they are not give job. If joined mtech will lately started mtech program and nearly 5y happend until now hike, no promotion. Salary is fixed for 4y. As discussion happend with HR they told until mtech no hike that means 5y with 24k how will survive in metropolitan areas complete work from office
