The company is good if you are mediocre in performance and can live with less payment. The company has less clients and similary cannot pay employees much. They have very less promotion buckets and blatantly lie to people for the same.

Salary, promortion - these are the worst over here.

Work life balance is very good. That is the only good part.

Dislikes

Gratuity to be paid after 5 yrs is added in CTC. Salary hike is not more than 5% if ur not a CA. Manager will forcibly tell us to come to Diwali party and other festivities but will not pay a single rupee for food and fun activities. Employees are forced to pay. Even picnics are organised on employee money but bank does not pays a single rupee. And if any employee refuses to pay then they r accused on non bonding wid team.

Likes

The company provides you a work life balance in which you are able to take many leaves whenever required and also having offs on weekends, Public holidays so no need to work on holidays.

Dislikes

1. Appraisal policy in Kotak is very weak. After receiving out of rating i.e., 5, you may receive less increment and bonus. 2. Also no outing / parties arrangement from company. 3.No Free transportation facility from company that you will get charged. 4.No hybrid work.

Likes

No one was laid off during covid so if you want a secure job this is it. No strong hierarchial barrier. Lower level can easily communicate with high ups if required and vice versa this creates plenty of opportunities. Supportive managers.

Dislikes

Salary and increment - mid-low range as per industry standards. Work life balance - depends on the product assigned. Work time range between 10-15 hours. HR doesn't do much. Growth & incentives - promotions are not considered until 2 appraisals are done. Do not keep expectations of any type of incentive for OT, cab etc as there are none. Management has been working in the bank for quite some time and can force you to get work done if required. Expect to be forced to work on non working days once in a while.

Too much favoritism- politics, no work life balance, long working hours, too much sales pressure, no job security, employee's are asked to straight away put their papers
