...micro management & employees are constantly poked and nagged until they give up. The mangers needs ego massaging and think that they are paying for their employees salary or if their pocket. Great culture to promote internal talent. Open to mobility. Very resilient organisation. Good place to work with. Great infrastructure. You feel proud working with JP. Facilities are amazing.

Dislikes

Bureaucracy - that is the single biggest put off for me. Salary at senior levels is not very competitive. Also, you tend to get siloed quickly. At senior levels, career pathing is not very clear. When people resign, they are told about what great plans were being created for them.

Insensitive to employees needs, especially females. No work from home provided out of the blue, misuse of company funds and cafeteria food is not at all healthy. Bad HR services and management is least bothered about our needs.

JPMC is a good brand name to work with. If you're in the right LOB with the right people above you, the opportunities you get can be very good. The company provides free transport facility which can be a boon if you're working in a city like Mumbai or Bangalore. Job security is great here.

Dislikes

...folks gang up and make it difficult for new joiners to keep themselves relevant. While the pay is good, it is nothing compared to the trouble one goes through. If you're planning to join JPMC, throw the word 'meritocracy' out of your dictionary.

Work culture is not so good. Some managers won't even give respect to the team members. Team members are not so collaborative. Toxic work environment. Everyone will be always waiting for chances to pull you down.
