Salary is decent compared to industry average. Also, You don’t need to worry about the job security unless you are really bad. Work life balance depends on which line of business and what team are you working.

Dislikes

Promotions are too slow compared to your peers in US or UK. A person will stay as an Analyst or Associate for years and your peer will become a Vice President or even an Executive Director within the same timelines. Your promotions are hardly based on your performance and mostly based on how much good relationship you have with your manager and how much the management has endorsed you as a brand.

Jp Morgan provides the best in class inclusivity and job security and competitive compensation along with perfect work life balance and a culture that makes you feel like making it the only company you would ever wanna work for.

Dislikes

The thing I disliked was the interview for internal job postings. Whilst they do multiple interviews but they still open job requisition in accordance to the person they have in mind.

...micro management & employees are constantly poked and nagged until they give up. The mangers needs ego massaging and think that they are paying for their employees salary or if their pocket. The worst kind of people with no humanly etiquettes are found here. DO NOT JOIN J P MORGAN #WORST COMPANY

It depends on where you come from. I was in Quantitative Research. * Good enough benefits. * Job security

Dislikes

- Payment disparity (someone 2 years less experienced may be at higher position with much higher salary even though you do same work with similar efficiency) - Bonus is decent but not written in your offer letter (no company can take bonus into account if you leave the organisation) - Your technical knowledge won’t improve unless you are joining as a fresher (who has little to no professional experience) - They still use Python 2 which was deprecated at least a decade ago. - Do not recommend for techies.

Salary & Other benefits are very good. Worklife balance is also good as they have introduced hybrid culture.

Dislikes

Technology is too cluttered with a lot of web systems, not so user friendly needs to depend on multiply systems for retrieval of data.
