When I joined Instamojo there was no micromanagement. And I had the flexibility to experiment and fail. The work life balance is great.

The micromanagement started happening around a year back and the team morale went down the drain. There’s no trust on the team and job security is not there. Also there’s no information flow from the top management.

Dislikes

Too many hicups in the system. No increments, no promotions last year and looks same this year. Employees too are facing difficulties in getting any issue resolved. Now there is no job security, it was there earlier. Skill Development/ Learning is just a part of HR deck. Practically nothing is there.

While my experience at Instamojo has been largely positive, one challenge I encountered was related to the fast-paced environment and evolving priorities. At times, it meant shifting focus quickly to address urgent issues, which could delay longer-term projects. For example, there were instances where resource allocation had to pivot to address immediate customer concerns, which slowed down planned feature rollouts.

My manager was a only person who was a good human being else everyone was shit

Dislikes

Everything..!! Hire and fire policy. Would give -100 for job security. Laid off d department in a month after getting hired. Was asked to put resign. Worst as hell

The management could be more better don't have a complete management hierarchy, also HR department changes quite frequently they should look around this also town hall happens once in a year
