Ingersoll Rand is good for onroll employment employees. Balanced work life. Good career growth with lot of perks. Lot of benefits for employees. Employee oriented company. ( Trane )World market leader in chillers.

Dislikes

Salary not provided ontime ( salary date will be mid or after mid of month ) for offroll employees. Lot of politics rolled over contract employees. Contract employees were pushed to do extra work rather than his/her roles and responsibilities. If you not obeyed to do other works you will get fired and contract period will get closed in one day itself. Don't join Ingersoll Rand as a contract employee. No support, no issues were addressed and no solutions will be provided for contact employees. Other than above issues everything other same onroll benefits will be provided to offroll employees also.

If you are in Engineering department your life will become hell. The senior level will make you to put resign within 2 years. That's politics is you will face here and you will learn some politics as well.

Dislikes

Nobody has clear idea about future. While Job security isnt an issue, what we as an individual or organization will be/want to be isnt all that clear. You might see presentations being made about vision. While this seems all hunky-dory, what actually happens doesnt really align with what is said. Very less growth opportunities, especially once you reach a certain level. If you are looking for good growth, make sure you get a clear idea during interview, before you join. Overall opinion i would still say is quite good.
