Salary increment is pathetic... worst... i have not seen such low hikes anywhere. Would never recommend anyone to start career with infy with such low package. May be join as lateral. And also as infy says that client is like god to them.. and then we the poor emlpoyees are treated like servants of those clients.... this needs to be corrected. Infy should treat their employees equally and give them respect that they deserve. Being an Indian MNC, be kind to indians atleast.

Delayed promotions and hikes, low salary corrections, work culture appears to be similar to working in govt office. Policies are for name sake and can be bypassed when needed by some senior just like it happens in govt depts.

It has awesome campuses and very good job security. There used to be good onshore opportunities earlier but not so many nowadays. I thank Infosys as it gave me a start to my career.

Dislikes

...es due to internal tpolitics. I think internally there is lot of corruption too. They waste so much money on campus and other useless things but don't pay their engineers well. They will buy TVs worth 10 lakhs each fro showoff but will remove napkins and toilet papers from bathrooms which are basic needs. I wish Infosys was what Mr. NRN dreamt about it but it is far more worse now. It should care for it's engineers.

Infy has a very good working culture. Starting from the Mysore training to every location (I have worked in three locations Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh ) has satisfactory working culture in terms of team's co-operation, learning and innovation. Work- life balance is manageable with high ambitions as well. As long as one is performing good, job seems secured there. Appraisal meetings were satisfactory as discussions were two ways with positive attitude. So, overall experience was good.

Dislikes

From dislikes point of view, salary enhancement was not very high even when I had 1+ ratings at few occasions. I am from Patna where there is no development centre of Infosys. So, travelling was painful that way. Lately onsite opportunities were on decreasing line specially in the US based accounts. There is no on job training but KT (knowledge transfer) about the acount is given to any new joinee in a team.

...this one is that company where employees never want to switch it another one. 1. Hike/ salary + Benifits ( Cab Provides) 2. Promotions 3. Onsite opportunities need to increase and give a more feasibility to work with new technologies (I.e, if any employee are from the infrastructure and want to move with the development or ai then they can move easily) . I belive practical is the fastest way to learning anything without knowledge.
