If you get a project, you can work well but don’t expect salary growth or other opportunities.

Dislikes

I was promised that I will get getting abroad opportunities but I worked for 4 years and no salary hikes and no abroad opportunities. I was 100% billable to a project, contributed to Infosys departments as well on my weekends but I still did not receive any appreciation or salary increment.

Likes

1. There are people to listen to you, they may not do anything but at least they listen and show you the direction. 2. Job security is there - you get ample opportunities to learn and prove. 3. Lot of knowledge gaining options to learn and upgrade your skills.

Dislikes

...ple who work and stay in the company are equally paid well as the lateral hires. Very easy to pay the outsiders but difficult to pay the loyal insiders. 2. Promotions on time - People take you for granted.

Onshore visa initiations are nominated irrespective of person travelled or not as part of retainment philosophy.

...d hike percentage usually do not cross single digits irrespective of top rating. Example, If salary is 100. JL6 - fixed pay-30% var - 5-15% super annuation - 30% tax bracket from govtd = 100-30-5% sa - 20% tax assumption=45 rs, so you get 45 at hand of your ctc is at 100 Similarly 20%var for JL5 and 10% var for JL4 Just do the math and how under par salary.

Only the people, they are really working hard for too less

A lot actually, starting from HR analysis leading to skewed policy. To salary scale to quality of work. Basically they will be trapped in the typical IT service providers zone.. And nothing more if not corrected

Good work life balance in a lot of projects, but some projects including the one I work in, offer terrible work life balance. Facilities for employees are admirable. Campus is real good, green and eco friendly.

Dislikes

Poor salary hike and promotion. Terrible work life balance in some projects.
