Comparatively there's better job security. They rarely fire you or layoff even if you're on bench for a long time. Flexible shift timings. Not much work pressure from higher management, although it can vary from project to project.

Dislikes

The only dislike about Infosys is its salary and benefits. They offer comparatively less salary and increment also very less.

don't like , too much work, no hike since 2 yrs, they put you in any technology, u have to work otherwise they will fire you.

They have their own rules for salary increment. since 2 years i did not get any hike. at the time of joining they said you have Permanent work from home and sent this in a email, but after 1 yr they said policy has been changed. you have to come office. it is very disturbing because every one plan according to that. Exposure to work in India's 2nd larget IT gaint. Ok in job security.

Dislikes

No recognition and appreciation. No salary hike and promotion in last 1.5 year , they are cutting variable in large portion. Work culture is ok.

You need to give contributions in Hackathons/Open-Source/Technical content-writing/Mentoring in order to get good hike and promotion

Onshore visa initiations are nominated irrespective of person travelled or not as part of retainment philosophy.

...d hike percentage usually do not cross single digits irrespective of top rating. Example, If salary is 100. JL6 - fixed pay-30% var - 5-15% super annuation - 30% tax bracket from govtd = 100-30-5% sa - 20% tax assumption=45 rs, so you get 45 at hand of your ctc is at 100 Similarly 20%var for JL5 and 10% var for JL4 Just do the math and how under par salary.
