It is a great organisation which enables a fresher to learn a lot and kick start a good career ahead, condition being you would need to do effort from your side also. Whichever team you go, you will get everyone is ready to help. One can have great mentorship if you are lucky. If you wish to join as experienced then you will be at benefit because you will be getting a good package. For a fresher joinee it will be beneficial to gain experience, do not expect a good hike or pay as you joined as fresher.

Dislikes

The salary they pay to a person who has joined as fresher is very less even though the person has gained a good experience and delivered very nicely but still pay will be less. Just a 2 year experienced lateral joinee will be having higher salary than the person who has joined this organisation as fresher and got had worked there since more than 4 years. Another point is that there are few leads who got to be tech leads just because of their experience but they are not well experienced and do not know how to manage a project or the client. But the main problem is salary only and hike is very low even if someone performs too good.

...Covid positive and once I informed my manager, there was no concern or anything. All these people are concerned about is how work can be achieved and for that as well no salary is given to employee. How much ever salary is been given to loyal employees, request you to not give that much also.

Dislikes

No proper compensation is given to loyal employees. I am working with infy since 6 years and a lateral having much less experience is having salary more than me. Nothing expected out of this poor company. It's my worst decision to join Infosys

...this one is that company where employees never want to switch it another one. 1. Hike/ salary + Benifits ( Cab Provides) 2. Promotions 3. Onsite opportunities need to increase and give a more feasibility to work with new technologies (I.e, if any employee are from the infrastructure and want to move with the development or ai then they can move easily) . I belive practical is the fastest way to learning anything without knowledge.

The freshers. They are talented people regardless of how much they know. They have a knack to learn, grow and get iut of there.

Dislikes

The company dosent reward based on indivisual performance of the employee. first 2 years would go in getting the salary that was promised to you at the time of joining. And there wont be any increments for first 3 years. Apart from the one i just mentioned. ITS NOT FOR FRESHERS.

The infrastructure is pretty good. Everything is handled through online portals.

Dislikes

Compensation is terrible. Managers have a habit of lying to employees and exploiting them as they get a small moneyary benefit based on how much the employees cost. So cheaper the workforce more money for top management.
