Need assistance for a job switch
So I just finished a year at ICICI and am now in SO grade in the eRM channel. My highest educational qualification is a B.Com. And now I intend to prepare for FRM. But I’m not sure whether I should stay at ICICI for another year, then switch companies after earning a promotion, and in the meantime, continue pursuing FRM, or if I should switch right away. Sales culture, in the name of opportunity target is giving and there is no incentive neither extra bonus. The bonus they are giving that is also from our salary they are giving nothing extra.

Literally cheated for my bonus. Work life balance is not good. Unnecessary pressure which doesn't even make sense. Would be happy to work even 10 hours if it makes sense. My father had cancer and i had to look after him in different city and HR response was you can take leave but no WFH is allowed. During 1st year, we have no paid leaves.

Dislikes

Standard 10% hike for everyone whether you do good work or bad. Gave me bonus of half of the bonus received by my colleague just because he joined 7 days before me. No performance linked incentive in the company (fixed or variable). Work from home is not allowed.

Worst timings. More than 12 hours need to work some times No work life balance. No respect no support for few members I don't recommend trade finance operations ORM section. Pressure to do multiple works in less time . Poor training. No support for few members. No quality only quantity based works . Daily 120 percent productivity 10 hours login and 9 hours productivity time .

If you can accept the things and keep patience then someday it will be fruitful that could take years.

Work culture is really bad. Salary quoted highly differs from actual inhand. Seniors treat as garbage. Shout for every reason Extreme target pressure. Some roles like me need to travel to different places but no facility provided.
