Work life balance large lot depends on your team and team lead. Job security and steady pay. Company culture is still hierarchical but slowly changing. Work satisfaction depends on team again. Product teams are better for learning and growth

Dislikes

No merit based promotion or appraisals. Limited scope for team change recently. Management has tunnel vision and execute the lead’s vision without room for questioning

Dislikes

Work culture is terrible. Unnecessary toxicity, poor environment in office, rude seniors and one might face harassment from seniors. If you get good team and senior , consider yourself lucky or else its worst.

Likes

Product team culture is different from the branch and operations team. Fairly interesting work, experienced seniors, progressive work culture, youthful peer. The bank has been a leader in technology (good for PMs). Unlimited sick leaves, good insurance policies. Swanky corporate offices with nice cafeteria and other facilities.

Dislikes

Poor pay/hike compared to other PMs. No parity in pay. Product function is still evolving. It's more of a project management function. Bureaucratic decision making process. Hikes be based only on overall performance of team and bank. Promotions will be on vintage. No motivation to perform since free riders now have more reasons to free ride. Some weird policies during Covid- employees were asked to wfh from base locations even if the role does not require visiting office.

I have got good experience in ICICI Bank. I like the work of ICICI bank. I Like culture and work satisfaction also.

Dislikes

ICICI bank is in Corporate mostly hiring employees are third party payroll. So they can't pay even as per job title quality.

...rk culture 2. Life balance is there if you handle ur boss and work carefully 3. Good salary if u r from top college 4. You can learn a lot, lot of scope for this 5. If u r good to handle some pressure, u will get additional responsibilities which is a good part.

1. Not handsome salary for normal guy who just pass out graduation 2. Salary is not upto the market standard for sales officers and sales managers 3. Retail branches have lots of pressure
