Management should good, RDM/PSP department not responsible for allocating correct project for employees, HR department should in good shape in company Policies not good in term of employees work life balance.

The company all over is good. The Work Culture is good, Employee friendly environment, haven't faced job security issues. Work pressure depends on the projects.

Compensation is decent, but career growth is slow. Hikes are below average.

...form, skill development wise IBM is lacking bit behind when it comes to testing. Salary increments are normal like any other IT companies, however career growth is very slow thanks to band structure. I must say work life balance is good, if you are working in non financial domain you can always connect from home and complete your work. When you switch to some other account it becomes bit tricky, challenging and which also slows down your career growth.

Dislikes

Employee doesn't feel welcoming when he joins newly, as team is busy with their work. There is no induction program at account level.Band promotions are bit tricky because of it's structure..

Likes

Flexibility and trust is lifeline of IBM. And I like this about IBM. There is team spirit and quality of product delivered is reliable. There is scope to work on various technologies and anyone may find the his/her interesting area to work on.

Dislikes

Training is not up to the mark and compensation is below the market standard. Senior management is not skilled enough in technologies and that creates adverse condition for a good employee. You may not find your likely people in a time sometimes. It's hard to get skilled professional most of the time. Adhering to latest technologies in projects rate is very low.
