They don't paid salary as per the work. Less job security with zero skills development. no work culture even they force employees to come on Saturday and Sunday when there is no such a requirement in project. employees when there is no requirement in project. work culture is very poor and they don't allow their employees to educate on various skills development programmes.

Great work life balance No micro management No need to maintain hours in office ( no swipe out time) Cab facilities for women employees after 7 pm Commute expenses reimbursement. Culture is very good Lot of learning and certification opportunities

Dislikes

Only point is that, try to get maximum salary when you join IBM. Like many other MNCs yearly hike is very poor in IBM.

No Appraisal or Promotion. Low single digit or NO salary hike. No clear HR policy. Too bureacartic and dependent on People Manager. No clear road map to switch between technology or the option is provided. Better for old age people.

...t i want to highlight that IBM is very GOOD Company, ONLY THE MANAGER ARE WORST. MANAGERS SPOIL THE WHOLE PROJECT AND TRY TO SAVE-GUARD THEIR SEATS TO GET ONLY SALARY. NEVER BOTHER OF THEIR TEAM MEMBER OR TO INCREATE THE TEAM SIZE TO GET REVENUE FOR IBM. very bad.

IBM IS GOOD, BUT THE MANAGERS ARE WORST, THEY WILL MAKE CONVINCE YOU INSUCH A WAY THAT THEY WANT TO SAFEGUARD THEIR SEAT. I FACED A WORST SITUATION IN IBM WITH MANAGERS. My name got added in Layoff list and i got informed that i will be terminated any time and manager informed me to search job outside. After their instruction, i searched and got the offer letter with 50% hike and when i try to request for relive me earlier (since my name is already added in layout offlist). Now Manager created a HR-LOCK SYSTEM through i cant get release from the project and resigation. this HR-LOCK TERM i hearly newly, when i sent mutiple emails to HR team, they telling they dont know how it created and they cant resolve it. Manager telling the tools issue, you cant releave from the project and cant apply resignation. But i dont understand that how they told me that my name is added in layoff list and search job outside. then i understood their real picture after 45days that my HR-lock got released after 45days, then releaved from the project. Then i understood that Now mapping with my earlier new offer letter with 50% hike, Manager dont like me to move out the company with 50% hike to other company. Manager want to leave the company and wants me get suffer outside by roaming. Very bad intention. Worst manager intention, Many managers in IBM doing the same. Even i cleared internal Abroad oppertunity, Manager of earlier dept sent email seperately to cancel the abroad oppertunity should not be provided to me. Very worst culture.

Work pressure depends on project. IBM .i have a very bad experience .Short time lines . Don't have any HR to inform your concern . Huge work pressure once you get into project they will not release you
