....Ltd for more than 16 years and I am repenting now why I left the organization . I completely agree salary at IBM India is not at par with current industry standards. However there are many other aspects in life apart from money and IBM is the only company in the world which offers everything .I always felt that we do not work only for money ,at the end of the day happiness matters. Now I realize this . At IBM the biggest thing was trust for all , love and you can maintain your self-respect as well .

Salary , promotions , appraisals .

Absolutely No micromanagement. Gives you a sense of freedom, promotion if you give the efforts, Recognition where its due, Good pay compared to all other service companies. Above all the work-life balance is unmatched and you will realize this only after leaving IBM. My heart still lies with IBM after 3 years.

Dislikes

I could hardly remember one but they could pay better

IBM is more inclined towards women safety and they make sure women get all the benefits they deserve. Also the work environment is very peaceful and work flexibility is the main reason for it.

Dislikes

The only thing I personally feel is the salary is not upto the expectation.

Lot of projects available to engage people. More Onsite opportunity .

Dislikes

Skills are under utilized due to project pressure. Salary is low compared to market standard and appraisal takes lot of time. Insurance policy is poor.

Likes

No hike no appraisal only work pressure. Avg 2% hike u will get if you don't want to ruin your career join some other company or if joining ibm leave this just after 1 yr if you want your financial growth.

Dislikes

No appraisal no salary hike no band promotion, new joini will get salary more than you. No manager support, internal politics is also.
