Good Work Life Balance, Salary & Benefits and Company culture. Manager will hear you and allows you vent out the frustration, but will not act on the promises made during one-one discussions. As they do not have real power to take decisions.

Project Alignment is terrible, I was a programmer and coding was my strong hold, I was moved to L1 support for 11 months, after putting up a fight with onshore and offshore management I was moved to technical role, which turned out to be Documenting the clients infrastructure. I wasted 18 Months of my employment & career by joining here. And absolutely no on-shore opportunity, When requested for On-shore, manager turned down by saying there is a huge backlog due to covid, so cannot nominate for any on-shore until next 2-3 yrs. And I was told only option was near shore Mexico. No idiot would like to go to Mexico to support near shore, and this strategy works out every time for them, As you are the one who will decline the offer to travel on work.

Dislikes

1. Low yearly salary hikes (2-7%). 2. No cab facility provided. 3. Promotion process needs improvement. 4. Employee benefits could be enhanced.

They considered me for H1b and filed my petition in 8 months after my joining

Dislikes

After receiving H1B they never approved my travel and you are forced to stay there for less salary. Don't take joining bonus, get maximum take home salary before joining. In percentage you will receive like 8-10 percent hike but in 3 years you will be less paid and have less knowledge as you work for some client.

... duration. Better growth and learning objectives and wide platforms for upgrade. Salary hikes also average as other companies purely depends on manager. Overall a great company to work :)

Great work life balance No micro management No need to maintain hours in office ( no swipe out time) Cab facilities for women employees after 7 pm Commute expenses reimbursement. Culture is very good Lot of learning and certification opportunities

Dislikes

Only point is that, try to get maximum salary when you join IBM. Like many other MNCs yearly hike is very poor in IBM.
