They just want work to get done. So as long as I worked as expected no one bothered me for anything. Even I don't expect anything more than that.

...st performer, it is not counted in appraisals. So what's use of best performing. You can sit quietly and get salary n go home. This is what demotivates emp and they leave rather than downgrading own performance.

They have long term projects which offers good job security. Company culture is alright. They have some good onboarding processes.

Dislikes

Work life balance was a joke. Despite being rated 5/5 consecutively for 2 years, no hike nor any promotions. They really play dirty politics. Senior management favors female candidates more than male candidates. No appreciation for the dedicated work male employees. Zero learning or upskill opportunity other than Udemy courses which will not be considered for any other position unless you have hands on experience.

Likes

The work is mostly relaxed, especially if you're on a legacy project. Onsite opportunities can be had in rotation. There are a lot of resources to certify oneself in various skills. There is no strict implementation of working from office. I went on quite a few vacations without taking too many leaves. There's a book club, which is interesting. I like visiting the library whenever I visit the office on a purple moon.

Dislikes

So, relaxed environments come with relaxed pay hikes. Appraisals here are one of the worst in the industry. Also, appraisals are unfairly linked to passing trainings and certifications apart from achievements at work. So, even if you're a hardworking good performer, but miss a single training milestone, HR will have a good excuse to deny your pay hike.

Depending upon the project you will experience differently. Hexaware gives a lot of training programs, udemy, hackathon to upskill oneself. Leave policy is good.

Dislikes

...t change even if you escalate. Compensation is another word for favour for them. Very less package and rare chances of promotion with 15 % hike in promotion. 4. No Bonus kind of thing exists. and many more..

Forget salary hikes in first year after joining. Terrible appraisal (verbal Jan - Dec) & increment (salary increase in Sep - Aug) cycles. God knows what logic. Only support projects to work on.
