I like the flexibility that is given to employees in-terms of working location, and learning aspect is more and continuous. It's been a year untill now I have never been in a situation where I am pressurized to do something. Learning wise I am happy because every quarter I learn and work on something new. Along with that I also try to do certification which is appreciated by my manager.

Dislikes

1. Variable pay is quite huge around 13% of salary. Which bags a question if we would see the entire 15% ever or not. 2. Hike is also quite less around 3-6%. Peanuts.😂 But i guess this is the situation in most of the IT service based companies. 3. Notice period is of 90 days. Which is a pain and also this has become a new norm for most of companies. These are the 3 points which i have come across yet.

They Don't follow their own policies. Ex: Apprisal Year is April to March, Compensation hike as per policy will be in July, but the letter will be released in October. So they manage 2 quarter's.

...process to pick persons who has not promoted for last more than couple of years. Salary hike is very less in percentage, mostly in single digit. Sometimes no hike at all. Fully micromanaging tool (Sapience) to check utilization of 9 hours, for which most of the employees are dissatisfied irrespective of theirs' successful project deliveries. No delivery office in Eastern part of India.

Suggest how to switch support to MERN

Hey there! I'm working in HCLTECH and have 3 years of experience in a support project simple copy and paste. I have learned HTML, CSS, Javascript, React.js , Node.ja (MERN stack). Also giving an interview right now 10-11 I have appeared. Not selected anywhere. Some interviews I have answered all questions but I didn't hear back. Asking for expected CTC 8 lpa and current is 4lpa. Please suggest how to crack a MERN interview. Do I need to be ready for machine coding rounds Because in the first round I have an idea right now, javascript basics, some coding questions on array and strings also concept of react and node. Please suggest what areas I should focus on. How to tell the interviewer I am a MERN developer not working on a support project because one interviewer had doubts. If someone switched please share your experience Thank you all for your time.
