You get to work on different projects possibly with completely different stacks. learning is always encouraged. people are amazing, smart+humble. you get to go on trips with your colleagues and work remotely from hills, beaches etc.

Dislikes

if company is going through losses you'll not get a appraisal that you deserve no family health insurance, only you are covered. they don't give you a work laptop, you are expected to BYOD. msg to management: don't say stuff like "y'all are replaceable", you have great developers, all work hard for you. for them your company is also replaceable, but they don't say it when you are on the other side.

Culture. Everyone is helpful. Its a fun place to work at. You get to work on a variety of projects and domains. Super flexible work hours.

Dislikes

Some client projects might not be that good for learning. Its not easy to find a project which deals with problems at scale.

Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
