... Partners are approachable. Excellent cafeteria, food and travel arrangements. Salary is at par with other Big 4. Lot of international exposure.

Lot of travel for for me. Several trips to client locations. Partner taking time to reimburse the hugh expenses I had undertake.

...understanding, Work from home was available even when the pandemic wasn't there. Good yearly bonus.

A little bit of office politics exists, Fewer salaries comparatively, Work-life balance is not given more importance.

The office decorum. The personal facilities.

...ies: related to leaves, promotions, reports, breaks, zero additional facilities. Minimal pay, disparity, extended work hours, never changed even after EY Aquisition. Hence had to leave, with no future.

If you are lucky enough to be part of the right team, you'll have good work life balance and a good team culture where you'll at least not be absolutely terrified of Mondays and drag through your week for the weekend. The leave policy was good while I was working at EYGBS. My team and team culture was devoid of toxic politics and I had the opportunity to decide what I want to do.

...ned in the JD also, the actual job is far from what the initial expectation was. The hiring process is a nightmare, salary is miniscule, almost every function has absolute chernobyl level toxicity, leaders favour their own people. Talent is colluded with head hunters for hiring and you'll get zero results on applying directly to career page. I was a part of an internal support team and had access to data and people from various functions in EY GBS. Apart from the fact that there is absolutely no clarity to ANYONE what they are doing, if you are a yapper you might succeed but in an incompetent space such as EY GBS, your likeability is your biggest asset, since there is no real work that gets done here.

..., paying in pennies, long working hours, booze, being wasted, and no upskilling. In short, it's like the life of a person who got their first job all party mood, but low salary, leading to a happy life with stability.

Dislikes

No learning and growth, have to butter the seniors, low salary, hell for introverts. But but you will really enjoy the culture here, company spends a lot here for team bonding activities
