...litics all day long, and you do not want to work, then EXL is the place for you. Salary hike/appraisal is a joke which is slapped in the face of employees, and there is not one process which is transparent. Travel is just a dream for the non-elitists, and learning here is average. The work environment is a morbid picture. But there is still hope. EXL only recognizes 2 types of employees: people from IIT/IIM, and then the non-tiered guys. So if you are from an IIT/IIM, then you will be treated as a king and even if you don't work and sit back, relax and enjoy, you will be given full benefits. If you are not an elitist (not from an IIT/IIM), then you are the one most probably working hard, with your credit being taken by your elitists and upper echelons. EXL Analytics is a joke, and is run like a BPO, but I think even a BPO values its employees. To top it off, EXL has a very misogynistic management level, who like to discriminate and pass comments on girls.

... I have seen people joining EXL as it gives more opportunities to travel abroad. EXL has salary bands for each position in company. So, it won't be a scenario that a manager earns more than senior manager. Best part I loved about EXL is take a project where you are working for more than 12 hours for 3 months and then a relax time comes. So basically when you work, work very hard. When you are not on project , you may chill anywhere in world. Also, flexible leave taking is a plus. I may not like to celebrate eid /holi/ any other festival, so I can come to offc for work and take leave as per my convenience on some other festival.

EXL partitioning 'services' and 'consulting' is negative. IITians and IIM A,B,C are offered Consulting; hence they get straight 2 positions jump - despite the fact that they are working on same project and doing similar job. So, a NITian starts from Business level and reach Assistant Manager in 4 years and a fresher IITian is given consultant position - equivalent to Assistant Manager. Also, EXL lags a bit in conducting training sessions. People actually learn during projects than with specialised courses , if any arranged by EXL. Parking is given by lucky draw. EXL should buy parkings.

Work environment differs from process to process but the work environment in my process is really very good. Both sides cab is also available aur some processes still office permanent work from home.

Incentives are low and also exl offers less package as compared to other companies in the industry like Accenture etc.

... which value their employees. Cab facility is nice ,hybrid model was very good . I loved to work here but the one thing which is not good was salary as per the designation.

1. No Learning at all 2. Mgmts Dictatorship 3. No Growth even if u die working here 4.Demoralization of employees at its peak 5. Promotions only for upper Mgmt 6. Working mothers are not allowed for any benefits, as they have become burden for company due to Mat leaves, even if they themselves took responsibility and have proved.
