...s been a bumpy ride since last 2 years. Quite unpredictable in terms of layoffs. Salary benefits can be better as compared to market.

Likes

You get to enhance your skills and do things that you are passionate about. They do good to use people's potential and beyond. Work life balance is good that people tend to find stability and have long tenures with the company, considering both tangible and intangible benefits. Work time flexibility is the greatest thing. There are no fixed timings, they have stopped monitoring exact in/out times putting faith and trust in employees. There are collaboration hours also well defined to maintain expectations. The overall appraisal process is now streamlined and made consistent across the board.

Dislikes

For a company with a stature as Entrata's, it can do better with salary packages. At the moment, it is quite below par per industry standards. Personally feel that there's an excess of flattery and biased superfluous praises being passed on various slack channels. Gets a bit annoying at some point. There was a barrage of new processes and practices thrown at employees when the upper management changed. Many of those process proved to be useless and eventually shelved. These things seemed to have happened because of the initial excitement rather than forming a well thought out need for it. Although the end results are usually satisfactory, the planning and implementation can improve to get there.

...culture is bearable. 3. Skills development, new technologies R&D is possible. 4. At this moment, I am satisfied with compensation.

Dislikes

1. Work-life balance takes a hit because of compulsory late night hours to interact with foreign team members. 2. Job security is not at a satisfying level. Some managers do indulge in a sort of power harassment, where extra work is demanded at the whims of job insecurity. 3. Work satisfaction and promotion/appraisals are not at satisfactory levels.

Likes

Working with Entrata (previously Xento Systems) has been a positive experience overall. It is a Product based company and it has a very large code base. Company has well-structured development and deployment processes and multiple teams collaborate efficiently to manage it. The workplace has mostly good people and a supportive environment. You also get quick support from Admin and IT department. Company maintains a good work-life balance. Good work and positive attitude provide opportunities for career growth. If you value teamwork, and structured development processes, then it's a great place to work.

Dislikes

Compared to other companies, the Salary package is average. It is not super high but also not too low.
