1. Work-life balance takes a hit because of compulsory late night hours to interact with foreign team members. 2. Job security is not at a satisfying level. Some managers do indulge in a sort of power harassment, where extra work is demanded at the whims of job insecurity. 3. Work satisfaction and promotion/appraisals are not at satisfactory levels.

Likes

Working with Entrata (previously Xento Systems) has been a positive experience overall. It is a Product based company and it has a very large code base. Company has well-structured development and deployment processes and multiple teams collaborate efficiently to manage it. The workplace has mostly good people and a supportive environment. You also get quick support from Admin and IT department. Company maintains a good work-life balance. Good work and positive attitude provide opportunities for career growth. If you value teamwork, and structured development processes, then it's a great place to work.

Dislikes

Compared to other companies, the Salary package is average. It is not super high but also not too low.

I have been working in this company more than 11 years and enjoying every day working in such a healthy atmosphere. There is always a room for learning new things and upgrading your skills. The internal learning program, Tech Bytes really helps to add new things in your skill. I like the flexible work timings and hybrid work mode, you can work from home or from the office if needed, there is no such restrictions :)

...ning time, dinner time with family due to evening calls [ max 3 days in week ]. - The salary compensation is not bad, but needs to correct as per market standards.

Challenges in the organization - Lack of support: Engineering manager and existing employees are not supportive; you won't receive help to understand the current product flow. - Engineering manager is very danger person in Entrata, if you ask questions related to product then you may get fired or being placed on PIP. - Existing Engineering Manager/Employees having so much interest to know your package/salary but you should not respond. - Expected to work late into the night. - If you have financial dependency then you will in trouble and potentially harming your career - I would rate this organization in RED
