Dislikes

Post integration of Merkle Sokrati with Dentsu, the work culture of the company does not remain the same. Need to get approvals for bank holidays from manager which is completely new and weird process. In terms of growth and learning, it becomes stagnant at a point. Feedbacks are not taken seriously by the organization. Lack of clarity even at higher levels when it comes to implementing processes. TOO MUCH OF MICROMANAGEMENT hampering the work culture and work productivity. Work utilization data is collected by every company on weekly basis, so was it at Merkle Sokrati. However, post integration with Dentsu, the same data is collected by implementing three different process of filling timesheets, work UT docs, Issue trackers which is heavily time consuming and a complete waste. Merkle was more into growth, learning and growing productively. Dentsu is more of micro managing, unnecessary process implementations, lack of growth and learnings and above all, highly unorganized.

Likes

The scope and nature of work assignments contribute to the employee's wider understanding of how businesses are executed. The culture has been great a major driver in retaining talent here. The senior management is usually approachable, teams follow agile processes, and there are rarely instances where two or more parties are not aligned. Comms. are timely and accurate, and conflict resolution is efficient. Overall a great experience for early-stage career starters, albeit the learning curve.

Dislikes

- Inconsistent influx of client-facing work. - Little avenues to do work that adds tangible value to the bigger business. - Job volatility. - Unfair promotional/appraisal cycles. - Zero clarity around how decisions are made by the Sr. Management.

No work culture, no job security, management force people to leave the job and give force resignation without any valid reason and after 13+ years of service in India

Dislikes

Few Management people were corrupted and whole lot of honest people were forced to give resignation. Few hundred crores have been syphoned.
