The business line is strong, and there is less chance to go into losses for the company.

Dislikes

The company lacks a positive work culture and a focus on operations management. There is no encouragement for employees, and limited opportunities for career development. The company has many conditional policies for employees, which change every month. What they promise during the hiring process is not followed through after joining. The management is particularly poor, with bad and ineffective higher-ups. Not recommended to join this company. You will waste time and not gain valuable experience for your career.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
