I have been from 5yrs with satisfaction but since last 2 yrs some disappointed with all cost cutting plans in employees pay and yearly ratings and hikes are getting delay looks CTS creating environment for employees volunteer exit.

Likes

- Good technical growth - Scope to learn new technologies - Good Teams and Managers though some Managers inclined and tend to biased for regional (chennai) people - Challenging Projects and better scope to prove yourself

Dislikes

- Last 2 years appraisal - Reflection of new salary structure after appraisal will be effect from July 1st, where as appraisal completes by Feb end. No arrears will be provided - Worst Cab facilities, no Shift Allowances - Poor Leave policy, No encashement of leaves - No Faternity leave policy. - No flexibilty to switch projects after even after completing the minimum required no of months in current project - HR Responses for your queries will be below average

Likes

Nothing much, it's average service type company with decent salary. But leaves are good. 30 leaves per year in a service company is really commendable.

Dislikes

1. They hire based on prospective projects, and often the projects don't land. And then they have very limited time on bench, hence job security is an issue. 2. Work from office schedule is very strict, there should be some flexibility. 3. No proper employee benefits such as outings or lunches or parties, all they care about is billing. 4. Little too much of micro-management

Likes

Very employee centric company, good pay and perfect for 1-3 years experience people to join. Personally Cognizant has given me a lot. Knowledge, Skills,Culture and helped me to grow

Dislikes

Not much that I have found. Some employees or managers might be little biased but thats completely project wise. Company wise I have no complains.

Likes

Work life balance, company culture ,senior support in projects , learning.

Dislikes

Salary and hike is not like other companies.even for new joiners will give good salary but for people who working long time is not promoted and salary also will not be revised even they are well talented.
