It's MNC so work load is not much and you get nice architecture office and locality

...won't feel the pain but they will somehow kick you out if they don't need you... they might give you salary for 2 or 3 months to keep the mouth shut but they will lay off you silently

For Freshers: Low Pay, No relocation assistance, No perks and benefits, No Transparency in project allocation, no option to choose technology of choice for training. Generally Speaking: The standard working hours are 9 hours (excluding the lunch break), which already is more than the industry but even then you are expected to work 14+ hours a day in name of "flexibility". I worked 9:00 AM to 10:30PM for 3 continuous weeks. The Europe/UK offices dont work a second over 8 hours but Indians are expected to work more with less compensation. Supposed to be working in Indian time and be available in US time too.

I have been learning new technologies since day one, so learning is never stopped for me after joining cognizant

Cognizant will not pay you well , Even if you are eligible for a better pay at the correct time they will release you from the project so that they don't have to promote you

Cognizant has strong capebilities in delivering technology services with a robust support. People are satisfied working here but since past couple of years company has not given ample opportunitiesto employees in terms of growth and compensastion

Not good approasal No timely appraisal No promotion policies No standard salary parameters as per exp No benchmarking for compensastion
