Likes

Stability is good. Though in the ongoing global recession, many of my co-workers had to leave projects because of project ramp down and did not get any other projects. Instead of recruiting employees from bench in other projects they are hiring more from people outside.

Dislikes

Appraisal is bad. So joining with low salary does not help much in the long run, better to switch.

Long term projects but mainly support projects. Flexible work timings On time salary and some increment every year Scope to show case your skills

Dislikes

Every time you have search for the projects once your current project ramp down

Provided a good package during joining. WFH policies still there. Onsite Oppertutnities. Work life balance depends on project and with releases. Number of leaves also good. Development projects with good learning route. Culture is good.

Dislikes

Monotonous work. Long working hours. Continous meetings for long hours. Less Hikes. No Appreciation of hard work. No free cab facility. No free fooding. At Work from office, LAN internet or wifi is not fast and good.

Indians are considered 2nd grade employees with different rules for us and Indian employees. Higher management do not have any consideration for work life balance. They just want the work done

1. Good technology to adopt. 2.salary hike / promotion

Dislikes

1. Work and life balance is terrible. 2. Job security is terrible. 3. On call is a scham . Continuous 20 to 30 hours work in weekend in name of on call support , but all are planned activities. 4. 3 people working in 24*5 project with no leaves. Sorry to say cognizant lost the track .
