Well internal salary hike is not upto the market range. Your growth and onsite opportunities will be met if you are in a good team. If you are in team with politics, you can only grow if you have a high end people favor

Less hike for existing employees. Pressure from manager and HR to complete internal assessments which will be or may not considered for appraisal which depends on manager

More opportunity to learn by providing pluralsight and udemy accounts. Good work life balance. Work From Home. Infrastructure.

Dislikes

Politics. Manager driven company. Manager decides your rating which will directly affect increment and bonus. Rating is not based on performance. It's purely how you are making your manager happy. Luckily I'm not a victim. Recently increment is not year basis. it's either in 1 and 1/2 year or in 1 and 1/4 year. Recently working hours changed. It's 10 hours per day(mandate).

Cognizant have lot of job opportunities and provide nice pay according to market standards. People working in cognizant can switch to other technology and work on it.

Dislikes

Hikes are very less when compare to other companies. Due to internal politics talented people efforts are recognised.

Cognizant has strong capebilities in delivering technology services with a robust support. People are satisfied working here but since past couple of years company has not given ample opportunitiesto employees in terms of growth and compensastion

Not good approasal No timely appraisal No promotion policies No standard salary parameters as per exp No benchmarking for compensastion
