It used to be a Good Company long back, however under new management its probably worst company to work for. Mandatory 10 hours work policy, zero work life balance, Poor compensation, Hire and Fire attitude, Extremely long working hours and huge work load, and Management politics are just a few to mention in my disliking. Cognizant dont care for their people and only thing matter to them is profit margin. Find a better place to work

10 hour mandatory work hours. Zero Worklife balance Poor Compensation No salary revision in mid senior level for almost last 4 years Extended work hours and too much stress Management politics and favoritism gets priority over talents poor and shady appraisal process zero job security and mandatory fire if you get released or your project ramp down practically no bench policy to optimize cost.

I have no good memories to write here. However they are paying the salary on time.

Dislikes

Lot of politics. appraisals are hog wash.. Ratings are predecided and if you move from one department to another your ratings are downgraded even if you have done a great job in your previous project. The management thinks that a project can be done by freshers they do not value Senior members of the team. If you are on Bench getting another project is very tough and you'll be asked to leave by HR in 5 wks. Always there is a threat to your job.
