I had joined cognizant a very long time before in 2006 and that time cognizant used to provided lots of facilities like free/subsidized canteen food, Free bus facilities, 100% + variable bonus and Annual project/company parties But all these things do not exist any more.

...ion can starve for payments in-spite of consistent good performance and ratings. Designation decides your responsibilities of work but not you salary, inshort a person reporting to you might have more Or equivalent of your salary which makes the situation very embarrassing and demotivating for long term employees.

As working here is quite good when your manager is cooperative. Though In previous two years work and manager both was good no complaints for them and i worked from home till now and everyone was cool.

Now during current project my so called manager is psycho. Here in cognizant manager also do coding but he is like only I have to do everything and he just wants credit for it. Even to other squads he is like only he is doing work. He oftenly insulted me and two other team mates. I talked with my home manager but no benefit. Only you have to suffer in that scenario.

Despite the fact that cognizant is not directly involved, the management team is the worst because I had a bad rating once and spoke with my HR about it. She said that it was illogical to claim to be able to speak Hindi, and they do not care about employees. While some employees are excellent, favoritism is a non-issue in the Kolkata office. I will not receive any better senior support that would help me start from scratch.
