...rom energy point of view. Work culture is First clads.Job Security is excellent. Salary structure is excellent. Personal Expenses is less because of interior Ness of coal mines. Traveling time from quarter to office in 6 days of a week is very less compared to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, due to this time saving in Traveling employees are living healthy compared to cities. In some places coal dust problem is there , still coal India service is healthy, wealthy service.

...while taking any policy decision trade unions are consulted in different forums. Salary handsome and bonus is also paid every year with due consultation of Trade Unions.

There is lot of political interference in day to day work. Career growth is also satisfactory.

Being a Public Sector, Coal India Ltd. offers Job Security and attractive pay and perks. During my 07 yrs. in Coal India Ltd. got to work with people from different backgrounds ( be it discipline-wise / Cultural Background-wise). So definitely working at CIL has upped my people skills.Have been able to work in a team as an asset

More training especially on the job training is required. Also use of technology is required at various levels.

...nd to learn divergent aspects, it is the best. Here every day is a new day. Salary is good for present and future. Post retirement benefits are good.

My disliking was that one of the department having less qualified and quality people with more power to play.

Job security good salary. Heavy work pressure for field people so difficult to maintain balance in family matters. Environment in field is terrible no workers want to work full time they become violent at any time.

Dislikes

No patient hearing from top bosses every body wants results without providing input. People who are good presentation but doing nothing gets respect.
