Being a Public Sector, Coal India Ltd. offers Job Security and attractive pay and perks. During my 07 yrs. in Coal India Ltd. got to work with people from different backgrounds ( be it discipline-wise / Cultural Background-wise). So definitely working at CIL has upped my people skills.Have been able to work in a team as an asset

More training especially on the job training is required. Also use of technology is required at various levels.

Was looking after Compassion employment which is although very repetitive and monotonous but of SENSITIVE nature.Alongwith there were other tasks like reporting , organising,etc.

Excellent place to work and the place to develop leadership skills well mentorship by seniors and controlling officers We will find a family here in professional group and in the organisation. Teaches problem solving skills Crisis management, Makes you very stronger and self confident, Reliable leader and makes you ready for future leadership roles

Some places are in remote locations due to geographical challenges and connectivity issues but it will be overcomed in future.. with the help of local government cooperation

Dislikes

Work culture has not evolved to modern standards. Accountability is poor resulting in a few employees being overloaded and others going along without much work but drawing the same pay! No incentive for more work. Promotions are time bound and based on seniority only till General Manager level
