Salary compensation and appraisals are spoonful. Terrible hierarchy and managerial barrier - after a certain level, employee concerns do not reach to the top level. Micromanagement and empty banters.

...projects which help in providing exposure to different domains and technologies. Hike and compensation is good when compared to other services based companies.

Dislikes

Not a great place for freshers to start their career as most of the projects are in maintenance phase and there are very few development projects. Once the project is ramped down, you need to be on your toes to find a new project as you can get fired anytime. You may have to give up your core skill and just join any project if you are on bench.

1. An employee in Aricent would not be fired unless :- (a) his/her is extremely high or (b) he/she has done some terrible mistakes.

...lls something else. 2. HR department is fit ONLY to host Rangoli competition. 3. Compensation is poor. 4. The number of hours an engineer has to work solely depends upon his/her manager. 5. If the manager asks the person to work 18 hours a day, he has to follow, else leave the job. 6. The quality of job is not good. Its mostly regular maintenance kind of work. 7. Engineers are being lured in to stay in the company with fake verbal assurance that they would be sent overseas. 8. Ratings depend upon the whims of the manager.

I joined Aricent as a campus recruit. We had wonderful 3 months training at Gurgaon. Training provided was very good. Post training we were put in different projects. Work was average as it was a maintenance project with very limited scope for new development.

Less compensation. No exciting work.

poor management, just contract works in Hyderabad with Qualcomm, low salary, no appreciations for our work and there will be no proper guidance for employees.
