Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?

Likes

Provides good bonus, and enough leaves a year.

Dislikes

Management isnt good, appraisal is terrible, promotions are very less compared to number of new openings, managers doesnt let you apply for IJPs, have to provide explanation on each of your leaves with proofs.

Dislikes

No work life balance at all. No management of work. A lot of Workload. Everyday they will pressurise you a lot to finish the volume and achieve the target set by management. Not a single relax day you can get there. Leaves and Backup issues. But it is completing depend on internal teams you are working in. Some teams really have great management

Salary appraisal is done on timely basis along with focus towards bringing employees salary to meet market standards. Considering in-house IT team, there is a continous focuse towards process automation and have met the goal. There are multiple teams or groups working towards society, diversity, sports with a focus on employee engagement. Company also take lead in organising learning opportunities through external vendors.

Dislikes

Travel policy is very strict since company is focused towards cost. At one point, company focuses towards diversity and inclusion, however on the other end, caste, religion, state of domicile etc becomes a huddle. You can find politics in almost every organisation, so no comment. Due to working in night-shift, work life is not balanced. In current situation, there is a major challenge towards job security.
