Regardless of how much effort you put in production, the person who is close to the supervisor will get the first promotion even though they dont deserve it. Lot of partiality and politics. Upper management has zero understanding. They put business above and beyond eomployees physical and mental health

Most important thing is salary expectations, and Barclays is providing that much which is not in market this time. If you are sincere towards your company expectations than definitely Barclays is good place for you. I am enjoying and privileged to be the part of Barclays. I am Barclays.

Pressure of Productivity, and weekend working.

Good for freshers Less work more pay compared with experienced collegaues.

Dislikes

Inconsistant policies based on location and or Functions. Inconsistant pay scales for similar skilled employees No considerstion for experience in pay revisions. Limited space and name sake facilities for refreshmwnt.

...rything is stream line, expectations /objective from individuals are very clear. Good Yearly Bonus. WFH during the CORONA, and now 2 days WFO only.

Dislikes

I left because of only my immediate manager had not given IJB thought I had cleared all rounds successfully and it was happened twice. Poor mentality Manager.

Likes

Compensation and office vibes are good. There is a hybrid culture 2 days per week from office.

Dislikes

Poor management of assigning roles for grads. No role switch mobility. Work is more of a maintenance and support rather than developing, solving problems, debugging, and enhancements. No Learning and repetitive work. One weekend every month has work.
