Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: The interviewer firstly asked about myself. what is my strength, weakness, hobbies. Then he read my CV and asked about my articleship experience and challenges that i faced during articleship, then he asked me how I resolved it (I am good in excel. So during an assignment a made a sheet on excel to calculate recovery amount otherwise maually it was hard to calculaute and there was some duplication of work because of wrong calculations. So I explained that)

Then he asked me why i don't want to join other companies and want to join barclays (I told the career opportunities that I will have if I join Barclays and i also told about my interest area i.e. Finance which is the role for which interview was held)

Then he asked some technical questions regarding finance and then he asked me why they should hire me over others(I replied him that it is the finance profile and i was good in finance during CA course. i got distinction in that at IPCC and Final level and also in B.Com. I am good in numbers and I have data interpretation skills, I am good in excel and I am quick learner than others i observed it during articleship. These all are the qualities that you are looking for. And also i told him about my hardworking, calmness, friendship nature which is required in work culture of Barclays)
Tips: In tell me about yourself tell about all your academic and non-academic achievements. Say your actual strength and weakness and you should have examples for justification. For example if you are saying i am friendly in nature then replied all answers with an attitude that the interviewer is your formal friend.
In "why you choose Barclays" Start with the positives of Barclays, do not say any negative point of other companies and connect your interest area and career opportunities with it.
You should know about the company and its major functions and about the profile for which interview is conducted and you should have justification that you are perfect for this role.
You should have good command at your CV.


Round: Other Interview
Experience: The interview gave me some scenarios and asked me how will i react with that. I replied with the answers that will bring more benefit to the company in long term.

Also the answers given in I round was also tested.
Tips: Give the answers which are more beneficial for the company. But it should not be against morals and ethics. The quality of answer is not important in this round, the way of thinking is important.
