Working with my team and the support that was given. In addition, the pay was good and the company culture was very uplifting.

Dislikes

Not enough learning. I talked with a few other interns and we agreed that some teams did not provide enough tasks or projects for an intern to learn much about software development.

Likes

The work-life balance is very good. The management is reachable. Very good working culture. HR policies are good. Best place to learn from various platforms (Pluralsight, Coursera, Internal knowledge sharing forums, Internal wiki). Management encourages for innovation ideas. Conducts Hackathon on every year. Health policy, Car Lease policies are good. Employees will get AVEVA shares in 1:1 ratio.

Dislikes

... Since it's a product based company onsite opportunities are limited for 1 week. Compensation is average. Less opportunities learn new technologies from project, but there are opportunities to learn from Pluralsight and Coursera. As the employee count is 1000+, some times politics exists.

Aveva is a nice company to work with, Work culture here is convenient and comfortable. I like the fact that I am being part of a reliable, robust, and sophisticated team in developing and architecting products. I am surrounded here by good mentors and great collaborators.

Dislikes

...gh we don't get major opportunities here working with cutting-edge technologies. But, In terms of salary, there is a substantial difference compared to the market. There are no travels at all, this is a major problem to get training from the offshore team. Politics Never heard or experienced in Aveva.

Aveva has Good Visionary leaders and observes Market carefully and takes the right step which gives them leading edge towards core competitors in terms acquisitions of new companies , Encourages teams for innovation in the work

Dislikes

People who work best deserves best in terms of Salary hikes, Promotions which is poor needs to be improved drastically, Employee first Should be considered, Employees are the assets of an Organization. Acquisitions should not be at the cost of Employee hikes and giving employees with pink slips and reducing the cost cuttings. Car lease Policy to Only Specific grades which is not worthy as employee with higher grades may not be fully utilize it.

It was good at the salary when I joined the AVEVA, recently regarding the salary hike not really good, promotions also not up to the mark. Due to this pandemic, we cannot expect the travel, but it is less. The recent policies making us some disappoints. Sometimes, losing individual contributions recognition.
