Dislikes

While I value my experience at Alufit International Pvt Ltd, one area of concern is the salary hike process. The increments sometimes do not align with the industry standards and the level of effort and dedication required for our projects. A more transparent and competitive salary review process would greatly enhance employee satisfaction and motivation

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
