...nternal comms, improving their ORM, doing CSR activities, just run away from it. Do not even think of accepting the job even if higher salary is offered. The head of this department is a cunning clueless person who can just speak good English and has zero knowledge, zero team management skills and zero ownership. He is a friend of the company owner and has no answerability to whomsoever. HR is as spineless as it could be. A team of 15 people were brought down to just one or two members within 7-8 months, still no eyebrows were raised, no questions were asked, forget about any action against it. Some of us were asked to put down papers and leave immediately, no notice period, no PIP, nothing. The only thing this so called head is good at is speaking fluent English without making any sense out of it. He can speak for hours and hours without telling you exactly what needs to be done- thats his USP, and if you check his LINKEDIN profile, you would know he has never stayed in any company for over two years. Perhaps all previous employers might have realised he is good for nothing and asked him to leave. So, if you don't want to ruin your career, just run the farest you can from this department. Otherwise, may god bless you.

There are resource crunches sometimes in the middle of the project that PM will have to manage somehow. 5 days working from office. Hybrid work culture can be adopted.

...rease WFH flexibility for employees with distant families beyond 5 days a month. Need to revise more salary structure and benefits to match with top industry standards, and optimize TDS to make it more employee friendly.

The organization does not seem so flexible on salary negotiation for their own employees. You can enter with a high package but getting your worth while working in the organization seems like a task. Too rigid on 'work from office' policy even for people who work very hard.

1. Hybrid policy was cancelled because of handful of employees who took advantage and everyone was punished without enough flexibility. Despite this some managers are allowing their people flexibility while others are running a certain dictatorship. People in the top management will continue to wfh however will not allow their team members wfh easily. 2. Poor leadership skills in people in supervisory role. 3. Appraisals and bonuses are disappointing since last year
