Very bad WLB if you're working with Indian and Chinese teams, you'll be expected to work on weekends. Promotions are hard and biased. No proper documentation, people try to create dependency. Frequent layoffs and PIPs in the company. Too much micromanaging of employees.

Managers are nice, but sometimes you get to work on internal tools that you lack exposure to customer-centric work. While if you hustle much, you can get to work on the teams, but you need to find a good match for your needs.

They have flexible work timings and no constant pressure. They expect you to finish your work according to your own pace (given it's not unnaturally slow). The HR provides a lot of goodies every second month. Zuora also provides every second friday of the month off (long weekends every month)

Dislikes

Since they have interdependent tools, solving a small issue can sometimes take a lot of time since we need to connect with n different teams to understand the problem.

The technology and product are good.

The culture is not good. They kind of make you work for 16 to 18 hours a day. The senior leadership in US and Beijing does not have good understanding about the Indian work culture. People from Beijing work almost 18 hours a day and they expect you to do the same. Having a small engineering team they would expect you to do the development to production support for a large customer base.
