There are few IT companies in Kashmir, limiting your options. Learning wise Yarikul is a nice company with a stable product. They focus on single product, and the entire Yarikul team works on it.

Dislikes

There are several issues. I won't be able to list all of them. But here are some of them. 1. The management is poor and lacks clear direction. 2. Some colleagues act as informants for management, reporting all things to them and even adding non-sense things to it. But I believe this might be happening at other places as well. 3. Success is not based on work ethic or effort but on your relationship with management and their informants. To succeed, you need to maintain good relations and flatter the management. 4. Job roles are not clearly defined. 5. There are no dedicated teams for front-end, back-end, testing, support, devops. You are expected to handle everything. 6. A key figure in the management creates a toxic environment, engages in gossip, forms cliques, and does zero work. 7. No salary slips shared when the salary is credited. You have to ask the management to share the salary slips. 8. Some employees remain idle or do little work, due to a lack of accountability and succeed by flattering the management. 9.
