We also accommodate requests from our female colleagues, going on or who are on maternity leave and would like to extend their leaves beyond the statutory period of 6 months. We are considerate in obliging to their requests for extended breaks, understanding fully well the mother’s need to be with the child, while assuring them of their job security. They are taken back either in the same role or in another role depending on the positions/roles available once they resume work. Re-training is given as needed. We have so many of our female colleagues who have availed these benefits while being employed with us. We are fully compliant with the statutory requirements and go beyond too. With flexi timing policy in place, we make it easier for them to get back to workforce while balancing their personal obligations.
