Huge workload allows you to get accustomed with working under pressure. You will be getting a good exposure to foreign codes and standards. Training is basically OJT which is somewhat better than formal training as it allows you to apply your learnings in real time which also develops your confidence. Project leads are mostly helpful they will really help you to develop your concepts and they themselves are also very knowledgeable. In case of any conceptual misunderstanding, you can ask anyone to get it cleared as almost everyone around you have an experience of at least 10 years which also implies that you will mostly be working with experienced employees, though Wood is currently increasing its graduate intake but the ratio is bare minimum. And last but not the least projects are mostly international and working on them really makes you fit for international competition....Read More

Scope of industrial exposure is limited to O&G and M&M. Most importantly chances of going on site is very low hence you will not be getting any on site expenses. It is basically a office based job and even there is low to no chance of travelling to other offices also. Sometimes the workload is too much. You may have to work on Satur days and Sundays. The age hierarchy really makes the company a little hostile for people with less experience as they don't get enough room to participate in team meetings and making decisions. They just have to follow the instructions of there leads and behave in the way they are asked to be. Salary is below average in comparison to the quantity of the deliverables you are asked to produce. Promotion is really slow....Read More
