There is no career growth and their salary scale is also poor.After doing too much of hard work you’ll only get increment upyo 300-500 rs.Many of seniors are there with more than 4 years of experience still their is no promotion for them.Management is very poor.They just think about their good only and in all departments there is a shortage of staffing..

Working with Taj as a brand was a big opportunity . The F&b team was young talented and an energetic confident team headed by enthusiastic team of management which was goal oriented and equally hardworking however f&b assistants were always understaffed which made the work usually more than 12 hours on days demanding labour it went up to 16 to 18 hours . Which made the new comers crumble soon under the load and the retainment level very low among f&b assistants . Not to blame the organisation but the work culture of most of the hotels at that time was same but being Taj it was no different ,was a little letting down for me . Having said so I learned a lot even about myself and my limits of taking physical and mental efforts . It made me more confident about what I should be in future and continue to get better with time . I did MBA in international business after my job at Taj and now I am an assistant professor and in pursuit of PhD soon ....Read More

I joined taj because of Ratan tata, but the hotel Vivanta by taj owned by kamat construction and they will rule the taj, there are two Vivanta Taj properties in Goa both are owned by Kamat and they comond the taj. It is worst experience of my life, no job security, no appreciation after saving more than 1 crore, Taj management is not good. My rating is 0
