Uflex is a dream job for those who were employed here 8-10 years earlier or even much before. Its kind of government job for them. Once you have feet in Uflex for this long period, it can be a life changer for you. You stay in touch with higher management, hence your job is more secure. They dont need to find any other job. It is most comfortable situation when you are this old in any company especially Uflex ltd. Policies are good if you are GM or above. People who were at higher level in this company, mostly started from scratch here. Talking about Covid-19, Uflex ltd was open through out the lock down as it comes under essential services. Having said about positive points, there is a constant war between older and newer management(especially among division heads) in almost all the departments due to obvious reasons. This is basic problem in the Uflex ltd. What I have experienced that, this has led to continuous stress among middle and lower employees. It is difficultto satisfy egos. Ultimately, favoritism leads to partiality during appraisals. The groupism started from division heads itself. I dont see any promising career in this company, no matter how much I put effort. The reporting heads does not provide growth opportunities, but they are in direct contact with higher management. They want to secure their jobs only. It was clear cut established during my tenure. Higher management never get to know how well the employee was working and leaving the organisation. Sadly, it does not matter to them. Petty appraisals. It can happen anywhere between Mar to July (not fixed) Medical policy is not free Single digit annual holidays Less number of annual leaves Fixed in time and out time No free meal and mandatory deduction for same full 6 days working No get together through out the year except 1 hour Diwali celebration Most disappointing thing was that HR does not intervene when there is any issue. Its a leader oriented company and does not offer equal opportunity to individuals. Yes, racism happens too. One head troll others on their back. There was no exit interview. HR did not talk when someone is leaving. I have seen 5-8 employees leaving in front of me. No one was tried to be retained. Its not in their policy. Learned a lot. Professionally as well as personally. I am happy that I left it on my own at least. Worked for my own satisfaction and free from any complaints and controversies.
