There is not much to like for someone who just likes to do their work. But the fixed salary is good, too bad there is no bonus or usable stock-value. The company spends a lot more than, it should be able to afford, on its outings.

Dislikes

It is a company without any discipline, any respect for talent or innovation. It squanders away investors' money like kids do their allowance. The culture is very toxic with all the power in the hands of a hands of couple of VPs and a few mid-level managers, who won't let anybody do any good work. The IT infrastructure is poor to put it mildly. The job security is there only because of the company's own insecurities about holding onto its talent (if you could call it that). Salary/appraisal depend purely on your equation with your manager, your skip-level manager, and the VP involved. I was leading a software team at their Hyderabad office. It involved software design, implementation, testing etc. It also involved working together with an overseas team.
