I joined in 2023, Here are good things 1. Work Life Balance 2. Trainings and health benifits

Here comes the big list, in 2023 i faced 1. Even you are in project, some of directors will reach out to you and shuffle project in just one month also. 2. The worst part is cross skill pushing. If you are testing they push to functional. If you are technical they push you to functional. 3. Biased behaviour for old employees , for example those existing old exmployees can quote some reason and take excuse for coming to office 4. I joined in project, where they are following waterfall strategy instead of scrum , lot of access restrictions. For getting each access for dev taken months. Reverse engineering methods to understand client as is flows. That too with limited accesses and documents. No client interaction, just working like shadow for my experience its strange 5. Pushing very hard for work from office , all the levels they say. That too your account have odc then if its 25kms away also they will ask to come to that office location only. Hope this helps someone who thinks about these points....Read More

Work life balance was good in my project. Again it depends how an individual is maintaining. Healthcare benifits and leave are so good. Job security is an extra benifit but wih less salary compare to actual market standards.

Dislikes

Managers will always try to give you onsite lolly pop and in 80% scenario its a trap for employee. In most of the cases they are giving false commitment(80%) to employee. Even though you worked with so long with tcs they will not give you good hike or retention offer rather they would prefer to buy new employee with around market price or more than market price.
